Peter J. Beek

Day 1

Prof. Beek is interdisciplinary trained and operating human movement scientist. He is fascinated by the control and coordination of human movement, and changes therein as a function of development, learning and training. Based on his research activities and publications, many topics have his interest, especially the control and coordination of movement in the context of real-life skills and the development of expertise in that regard.

Luca Paolo Ardigò

Day 1

Dr. Luca Paolo Ardigò specializes in physiology, biomechanics and sports science. In particular he deals with exercise and sport and specifically with human and comparative response to them.

Sigmund Loland

Day 1

Sigmund Loland is a sports philosophy and ethics professor at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH). Dr. Loland has published extensively on ethical issues in sport, including doping and fair play, and on the theory of the sports sciences. Dr. Loland is the former Rector of NIH (2005-13), and former Board Member and President of the European College of Sport Science (ECSS) (2006-13).

Mario Kasović

Day 2 - Analysis of Human Movement Section

Dr. Kasović is member of many international and national scientific and professional associations: he focuses on biomechanice as a lecturer at the University of Zagreb. He has two main areas of interest: In science - fundamental and applied research in kinesiology, biomechanics of human’s sport, pathological locomotion’s and public health. In sport - high performance in triathlon, coach training and education, applicable programs for the youngest, the impact of sport on public health with an emphasis on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Magni Mohr

Day 2 - Sport training

Magni has been teaching at Bachelor, Master and PhD level at the University of Copenhagen (DK), Exeter University (UK), University of Gothenburg (SE), University of Southern Denmark (DK), as well as the University of the Faroe Islands. His teaching includes several topics within the area of Human Physiology, Exercise Physiology and Exercise as Medicine. Magni has carried out research at several European universities during the last 20 years. He currently has 119 peer reviewed scientific articles, including several reviews. He is first and last author on 30 and 33 papers, respectively, that have been published in high impact journals. He has a H-index of 40, and more than 10,000 citations in scientific literature. He is running research projects in 20 different countries around the world. The topics include basic human physiology, exercise physiology, exercise is medicine, health promotion, fitness testing and training in elite team sports.

Jürgen Beckmann

Day 2 - Sport and Social Sciences (Sport management)

Prof. Beckmann conducts research in the field of psychology in the areas of motivation and volition. His goal is to understand the processes of motivation and volition in particular and to use the research findings for interventions in sports and health promotion. One research focus is on understanding the neurophysiological processes underlying motivation and movement control in stressful situations. In view of the psychological problems in competitive sports that have become apparent in recent years, a focus on clinical sports psychology has emerged at the chair. This also includes the mindful use of nature as a preventive measure (Green Exercise) in a European project network. In addition, as of 2018, the establishment of a working group for psycho cardiology at the German Heart Center Munich was started. Since 2018, he organizes the annual interdisciplinary and international "High Performance Leadership Forum" at the TUM Academy Center Raitenhaslach.

Mario Kasović

Analysis of human movement section

Julie Dobrovolná

Sport medicine section

Her primary research focus is on the physiology and pathophysiology of stress and adaptation and on various technologies for stress measurement, including development of novel ones.

Zoran Milanović

Sport training section

Zoran Milanović is docent of the course football and futsal at Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Niš, Serbia and a Research Associate at The Institute for Kinesiology Research (IKARUS) ZRS. He is a member of International Network of Sport and Health Science (INSHS) which consists of more than 40 Universities worldwide and therefore has possibilities to improving any kind of cooperation, enabling project partnership and cooperate with other international sports and health science institutions. He has published more than 100 papers in international scientific journals and conference proceedings (more than 60 in journals with impact factor referred in Web of Science). In addition, he was several times invited to lecture at international scientific conferences related to physical activity and health. Recently, he has published few meta-analysis which analysed the effects of different exercise programmes on health-related physical fitness in adult population.

Stanisław Henryk Czyż

Sport and Social Sciences (Sport management) section

Stanisław Czyż focuses on motor learning and control, and in particular on motor skill acquisition. He is Associate Professor within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences in Poland. He is Associate Professor (Incubator of Kinanthropology Research) at Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia; and Extraordinary Associate Professor within the Physical Activity, Sport, and Recreation focus group at North-West University, South Africa.

Armin Paravlić

Healthy lifestyle, Active aging, nutrition and regeneration in sport section

Armin Paravlić received a BS and MSc degrees in Sport and Physical Education from the University of Niš (Serbia) in 2014 and 2015, respectively, and his PhD of Applied Kinesiology at University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). He is employed at Science and Research Centre Koper, Institute for Kinesiology Research, since November 2015. In addition to his research work, he is also involved in pedagogical work as an assistant at the College of Sports Trainers, Faculty of Education, University of Maribor. Since 2017, he is regularly invited as a lecturer for a course for recreational sports practitioners organized by the Sports Union of Slovenia.
Armin Paravlić has published many scientific articles of which several in indexed journals with an impact factor. His scientific publications reach more than 50 units.
